Ackert Participates in Veterans Clothing Drive

State Representative Tim Ackert (R-8) participates in a press conference to conclude the Connecticut General Assembly’s Veteran Collection drive, which is utilized to collect clothing and comfort items for residents at the state’s Veterans’ Home in Rocky Hill. The drive was conducted from November 30th until December 18th. Ackert, a veteran of the Air Force, explained in his remarks that the items collected by the drive go a long way to making the holidays much better for those who have served in our armed forces and are in need.
