HARTFORD – On Wednesday, May 10th, State Rep. Tami Zawistowski (R-61) welcomed Team 176: Aces High to the State Capitol in Hartford for Manufacturing Connection Day. Aces High has won the New England FIRST Robotics Competition two years in a row and was a division finalist at the Worlds competition in Houston.
“It was a pleasure to welcome these bright students to the Capitol to recognize their accomplishments as a team and positive representation of and contributions to our community as scholars and competitors,” Rep. Zawistowski said. “Congratulations to Aces High and their dedicated team of coaches and mentors for their remarkable achievement and best of luck going forward.”
Team 176: Aces High consists of students from Suffield High School, Windsor Locks High School, and East Windsor High School. Students were presented with citations and proclamations from the General Assembly and Governor Ned Lamont on behalf of their achievements.
