Winter Clothing Drive to Benefit Veterans in Need

State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) announced today that he is sponsoring a Veterans Day Donation Drive to benefit area veterans, women, and children in need this upcoming winter season. With colder temperatures on the way, Rep. Yaccarino is collecting donations of NEW thermal underwear, sweatshirts, sweatpants, warm hats, gloves, and heavy winter socks (sizes medium and up preferred).

The donation drive begins November 1^st and runs through December 3^rd. On Saturday, December 4^tha drop off ceremony will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 76 located at 20 Church Street in North Haven. Donations of all items collected will be presented to The Columbus House in New Haven for distribution to veterans and individuals in need.
