Rep. Dave Yaccarino spent part of his day recently reading to 4th grade students at North Haven’s Clintonville School. The legislator, who attended the school as a child as did his children, joined Miss Adinolfi’s class and read two classic Dr. Seuss books- “The Cat in the Hat” and “Hop on Pop”- to the class.
When he finished reading he answered questions from the students about his work in Hartford and the work of the legislature. Rep. Yaccarino also made it a point to tell the children that their parents and teachers deserve their attention and respect because they are an important part of the learning process.
