State Representative Dave Yaccarino hosted a successful, free, shredding event recently in the parking lot of the North Haven Senior Center on Pool Road. Dozens of area residents turned out with boxes and bags of documents they wanted destroyed and watched as James Pender, a representative from InfoShred LLC, quickly and professionally shredded their sensitive paperwork. Bills, tax statements, old credit card receipts and other unwanted papers were no match for the huge truck and powerful equipment.

“I’m happy I was able to arrange with this event to make sure our residents had a safe and efficient way to securely dispose of their unwanted papers,” Rep. Yaccarino said. “I want to thank the senior center staff for allowing us to use their parking lot and I especially want to thank the good people at Infoshred, especially their truck operator John, who went out of their way to make this event a success.”
