Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) achieved a perfect record for votes cast on the floor of the state House of Representatives during the 2021 legislative session and is being recognized for this outstanding achievement.

Rep. Yaccarino cast a vote on all 467 pieces of legislation that came before the House of Representatives during the 2021 Regular Legislative Session and Special Session – therefore not missing a single one. According to statistics compiled by the House Clerk’s Office, this perfect score and attendance is very difficult to achieve, with only about 20 percent of legislators being able to do so in any given year.

“Obtaining a perfect voting and attendance record as a legislator is nonnegotiable for me, said Rep. Yaccarino. “The people of North Haven put their trust in me to be their voice in Hartford, and in return I make a promise to work hard on their behalf. I will continue to fight for my constituents and look forward to representing them again in the upcoming session.”

Rep. Yaccarino, a House Republican Senior Whip and leader in the House Republican Caucus represents the 87th district in the General Assembly. He serves on the legislature’s Commerce Committee, the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, and Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee. He is also Co-Chair of the Legislative Bioscience Caucus.
