State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) addressed the New Haven Area Senior Networking Group’s regular meeting Wednesday morning by discussing important legislation affecting senior citizens that passed the General Assembly this year.
Rep. Yaccarino gave a brief overview of the major acts affecting seniors and answered questions from the audience regarding the new laws. Many of the questions concerned increases in taxes and fees that will disproportionately affect seniors and those living on fixed incomes.
