    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a nighttime milling and resurfacing project to be performed on SR 707 in North Haven and Hamden.

    THE PROJECT

    Consists of milling and resurfacing 1.12 miles of SR 707 in North Haven and Hamden.This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, August 2, until the  morning of Thursday, August 13. 

    The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, August 2, through Thursday August 6.

    The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, August 9, through Thursday, August 13.

    LANE CLOSURES

    Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 707 from Glendower Road to Route 10 (Dixwell Ave).

    Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday Night through Friday Morning).

    Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
