New Laws Take Effect October 1st

To keep you informed about the activities of your state government, I would like to bring your attention to numerous new state laws and regulations that will take effect this Monday, October 1, 2012.

Among the laws that will take effect next week include acts concerning transportation safety, the use of firearms, the palliative use of marijuana, penalties for animal cruelty and grandparents visitation rights.
