    Coat, Hat, Glove and Scarf Drive To Benefit North Haven Residents

    State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) announced today that he is sponsoring a Coat, Hat, Glove and Scarf Drive to benefit those in need this upcoming winter season. With colder temperatures on the way, Rep. Yaccarino, with assistance by students from North Haven Alternative High School, is asking local families to look in their bureaus and closets for donations of clean, new or gently used, coats, hats, gloves and scarves.

    The event begins November 1st and runs through November 30th with a drop off ceremony on Thursday, December 1st.

    Donations of new hats, gloves and scarves will be presented to North Haven’s Dept. of Community Services for distribution to local families in need and used coats, hats, gloves and scarves will be distributed in the community through various charitable outlets.

    61 State Street – North Haven, CT

    Senior Center
