    THE PROJECT

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Rt. 40 northbound and southbound on various bridges in North Haven beginning Thursday, March 31.

    The project consists of bridge maintenance to the bridges listed below. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, March 31 through Friday, April 22.

    • North Haven – Rt. 15 (Wilbur Cross Pkwy) overpass
    •   North Haven – Rt. 10 (Whitney Ave.) overpass

    LANE CLOSURE INFO 

    You can expect lane closures on Rt. 15, northbound and southbound from Exit 1 (Dixwell Avenue) to Rt. 10 (Whitney Avenue) in North Haven. 

    Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be used to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Please maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
