Today, I had the opportunity to visit two assisted living, residential care facilities that offer a unique contrast and alternative to that of a traditional nursing home.
As a former geriatric nurse of almost 30 years, Corinne DiBacco, owner of By the River and By the River 2 in Marlborough, said her goal is to provide her residents with a high level of companionship, compassion, and care.
Each Jones Hollow Road location features a spacious open concept 7,000 ft2 home offering both private and semi-private rooms (12 in each) in a communal setting with caregivers operating in the background.
