Rep. Weir Receives 100% for Votes Taken on House Floor

Lawmaker Present for Every Vote for Third Straight Year
HARTFORD – For the third consecutive legislative session, State Representative Steve Weir (R-55) has once again achieved a perfect score for votes taken on the floor of the House of Representatives for the 2025 legislative session.
Each year, the House Clerk’s Office releases the data on members’ votes during the Regular Session and Representative Weir was present for all 381 votes taken during that time.
“I am so proud that for the third year in a row, I have achieved a 100% voting record, which means I was present for all 381 votes taken on the House floor, many of which involved several hours of debate,” Rep. Weir said. “I was also present for every committee vote for all three of the committees in which I serve on. When I first ran for this position in 2022, I promised voters that I would always give 100% in this role and for as long as I continue, my commitment to our district will remain unchanged.”
Representative Weir represents the towns of Andover, Bolton, Glastonbury, Hebron and Marlborough in the General Assembly. He currently serves as the Ranking Member of the legislature’s Labor Committee, as well as being a member of the Higher Education and Housing Committees.
