Earlier this month, I had an opportunity to return to Andover Elementary School and participate in Read Across America.
The book I read was “The Three Little Guinea Pigs” by Erica Perl. The story mimics that of the three pigs but instead follows three guinea pig sisters, Rosie, Minty, and Pumpkin who venture out of their home to try and make it on their own. During their adventures they attempt to build houses to protect themselves from a very hungry fox.
I thoroughly enjoy being a part of this annual event and want to thank Ms. Beloin for welcoming me and for all of the first-grade students for being such great listeners.
