    Bad Bill Alert!❌

    Here’s another example of bad bill being proposed by members of the Majority Party that seeks to ultimately ban the use of gas-powered leaf blowers statewide.
    A decision that should be left up to our municipalities, is now up for debate in Hartford. Not only are the battery powered alternatives more expensive, they’re also far less powerful. Never mind their overall performance doesn’t compare to their gas-powered counterparts and they offer much shorter runtimes.

    Didn’t we learn anything from the proposed ban on gas-powered cars? This proposal will have a far-reaching effect on our towns and cities, school districts, golf courses, landscaping businesses, homeowners, renters, and anyone who may live or work in a place that has trees. It is quite apparent to me that the proponents of the bill didn’t look six inches ahead to see what unintended consequences might come from this overreach.
