State Capitol Hosts School Manufacturing ConnecCTion Fair

As part of the School Manufacturing ConneCTion Fair held today at the State Capitol, I had an opportunity to welcome educators and the 2023 CIAC Robotics Team of the Year,
FRC Team 195: The CyberKnights, from Southington High School.

This annual event brings together students and manufacturing businesses from across the state to highlight the types of internships and job opportunities that are available to students who may be interested in pursuing a career in the industry.

While I didn’t get to chat with representatives from Companion Industries Inc., a local manufacturing business based out of Southington due to having to attend a committee meeting, it was great to see them participating in this type of event.
