TAX CUTS
The state budget, adopted in June, cuts the bottom two marginal income tax rates for all filers from 3% to 2% and from 5% to 4.5%. Income taxes on the first $50,000 in taxable income will be lowered for single filers and married people filing separately, $100,000 for joint filers, and $80,000 for heads of household. Electric Vehicle Information Forum

State Senator Rob Sampson, State Rep. Gale Mastrofrancesco and I will be hosting an Electric Vehicle Information Forum designed to provide further insight into a plan to prohibit the sale of all new gas-powered vehicles by 2035.

The Regulation Review Committee will review such a proposal by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) at an upcoming meeting scheduled for November 28th.
