This bill is an important proposal for Connecticut veterans to access the essential basic items that are needed when they are serving overseas. Many nonprofits that try to help our veterans do not realize the shipping costs for humanitarian aid. On Friday, I met with Mark Pooler, Southington-Cheshire YMCA Chief Executive Officer, Justin Hubeny, Camp Director, and Dave Donnelly, Grant Writer, to continue discussions we had this summer on various projects the camp was looking to undertake and ways they can obtain state grants/additional funding to help offset some of the costs.

Representative Makes Every Vote of the 2022 Regular Session
HARTFORD – For the second straight year, State Representative Donna Veach (R-30) has again achieved a perfect score for votes taken on the floor of the House of Representatives during the 2022 legislative session.

Kia and Hyundai vehicle owners are being urged to stay vigilant as a new social media challenge is encouraging individuals to steal vehicles using a phone charging cable and screwdriver.
