WATERTOWN – On Thursday, February 1st, State Rep. Joe Polletta and State Senator Eric Berthel hosted a public informational forum for seniors in Watertown to discuss the upcoming legislative session, which begins on Wednesday February 7th. Attendees expressed their concerns about public safety issues in Connecticut, a rising cost of living for residents on fixed incomes, and a new law which eases the cliff on taxing retirement benefits.
Rep. Polletta said, “I had a wonderful time speaking with seniors at our annual pre session question and answer time. I look forward to serving you for another successful session. Together, we are working to make CT safer & more affordable. Thanks you all for your amazing support and encouragement!”
