    State Reps. Joe Polletta, Tony D’Amelio, Stephanie Cummings and Geraldo Reyes were able to break away from voting in the House of Representatives Wednesday evening to honor Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury 2017 Youth of the Year Danny Ruiz.

    After brief remarks the legislators presented Ruiz with an official state citation marking his achievement.  Ruiz will graduate from Gilmartin School in June and will attend the SOAR program at Kennedy High School in the fall.
