Rep. Polletta Earns 100% Voting Record

For the second year in a row, State Representative Joe Polletta (R-68) earned a perfect one-hundred-percent voting record for the 2019 regular and veto legislative sessions, according to statistics compiled by the House Clerk’s Office.
This year, the regular and veto session included votes on 392 separate pieces of legislation that were called on the floor of the House of Representatives, and Rep. Polletta was present to vote on them all.
Rep. Polletta also achieved perfect attendance during his first full year in office in 2018 when he cast 317 roll call votes. Since taking office in a 2017 special session, he has cast more than 700 votes for the people of the 68th District.
“There are thousands of ideas, proposals and pieces of legislation moving through the General Assembly and each one has the potential to have a major impact on our community and state,” Rep. Polletta said. “I’m proud to represent the people of Watertown, Oakville and Woodbury in the legislature, and being there to vote on their behalf is important to all of us.”
Perfect voting attendance is difficult to achieve, with about 26% of House members earning that honor for the 2019 session.
Rep. Polletta represents the 68th district in the General Assembly, and serves as Ranking Member of the legislature’s Labor Committee. He also serves on the Finance Committee and Insurance and Real Estate Committee.
The next regular session of the legislature will convene in February, 2020.
