HARTFORD — On Wednesday, February 7th, State Rep. Joe Polletta returned to the State Capitol in Hartford to open the 2024 Legislative Session. Members of the House of Representatives and Senate were welcomed back to renew their commitment to serving the people of Connecticut. Governor Lamont joined a joint legislature in the House Chamber to deliver his annual budget address and outline his vision and priorities for this session.

Rep. Polletta says that it is a great honor to serve the 68th District and the people of Watertown, Oakville, and Waterbury.

“It was great to be back at the Capitol today to kickoff the new legislative session. I am encouraged by some of the Governor’s remarks and the bipartisan outlook for our state’s most critical issues in 2024,” Rep. Polletta said.

The legislative session is set to run from February 7th to May 8th.
