(HARTFORD) — On Thursday, April 6th, the State Bond Commission convened to discuss and approve requested funding for several statewide programs and initiatives. On Friday, March 10th, the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee will host a public hearing to consider House Bill 5290, An Act Sunsetting the Highway Use Tax. This Republican-led proposal was initially denied a public hearing by Democratic colleagues, until House Republicans used a parliamentary procedure securing the 51 required signatures to force a public hearing for a bill.

(HARTFORD) — On Tuesday, Representative Jason Perillo (R-113) submitted testimony to the Energy and Technology Committee in support of House Bill 5286, An Act Concerning Hearings on Waiver Requests Before the Connecticut Siting Council.
