HARTFORD –The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) has recently released their ‘State House Voting Records’ annual report for 2023 and State Representative Cara Pavalock-D’Amato (R-77) has received a 100% score for her votes on key bills that impact Connecticut’s economic growth and business climate.
The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) ranked all state lawmakers based on their support for the business community’s positions on 10 important policies. Votes that support the business community’s position would reflect positively, while votes against would result in a lowered score. The bills all affect job creation, small business growth and economic stability in Connecticut.
“In order for our businesses to thrive in Connecticut they require the legislatures full support, so I’m proud to have been recognized for advocating on their behalf,” said Rep. Pavalock-D’Amato.
CBIA’s policy initiatives feature in a number of the bills, with those recommendations designed to help alleviate the high cost of insurance, increase workforce development, and create and retain jobs. They are Connecticut’s leading business organization – with a membership comprised of hundreds of small, medium, and large-sized businesses around the state.
