Reps Pavalock-D’Amato, Hoxha, and Sen. Martin Visit State-of-the-Art Recycling Facility

The most tedious part of recycling is separating the cans from bottles then bagging them up to bring to the facility. Imagine not having to do that anymore.

This morning, I joined Senator Martin and Rep. Hoxha for a tour of RecyclX, a 21,000-square-foot state-of-the-art redemption site that has truly revolutionized the way we recycle. The facility, made up of 25 full-time employees and 6 truck drivers takes in approximately 20,000 bags each day.

If you’re interested in an easier way to recycle, visit either of the Clynk bottle/can drop off sites located at Stop & Shop (Farmington Ave. or Pine Street). Here you can download and sign up for the app, print the QR code for your recyclables, fill the bag provided by Stop & Shop (no need to sort), and deposit your items into the machine. You will be paid through the app which takes a maximum of 48 hours to process. Shahil Kantesaria, CEO of RecyclX said most are paid within 24 hours.

    Rep. Pavalock-D’Amato Recognizes Local Hero

Yesterday, I had the honor of joining some of my state and federal colleagues to acknowledge the service of a true local hero. As a highly decorated member of the United State Army Reserve, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Patrick Nelligan has dedicated his life to this country, so as he enters retirement it was only […]
