State Representative Cara Pavalock-D’Amato joined Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly, House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora, fellow Ranking Member of the Insurance Committee Sen. Tony Hwang at a press conference to speak out against a $50 million tax on health insurance premiums proposed by Democrat lawmakers and Gov. Lamont. Rep. Pavalock and her colleagues are requesting the legislature consider the Republican plan to make health care more affordable for CT’s working- and middle-class families without tax increases.
