    • Update on Financial Situation in CT
    • Comparison and Differentiation of 3 budgets being debated (Governor, Democrat, Republican)
      • The governor in February unveiled and handed off to the legislature an out-of-balance state budget that raised taxes on middle class families and increased costs for businesses.
      • Democratic majority party lawmakers responded with a plan that would spend 8 percent more over two years and increase taxes by $1.8 Billion.
      • Our Republican budget plan does not increase taxes, and we have supplied money to fund core government services.

Rep. Pavalock and Betts will continue to bring you updates on the 2015 legislative session from the State Capitol.
