    In an effort to stay connected with my constituents and keep you informed, I will be sending out a bi-weekly newsletter. My goal is to share information from my legislative office that will be helpful to you, and keep you informed.
    OPENING DAY AT THE STATE CAPITOL

    On January 7th, I proudly took the oath of office and began serving my two-year term.

    I have been appointed to serve on the General Assembly’s Aging, Commerce, and Program Review & Investigations Committees.
     
    I’m incredibly grateful to have this opportunity to serve in our state legislature representing my hometown.

    COFFEE HOURS

    I’m pleased to announce that I will be joining State Senator Henri Martin and State Representative Whit Betts in hosting monthly Coffee Hours at Rodd’s Restaurant.

    Beginning on Friday, February 5th and continuing every first Friday of the month, we will be available to meet with you and chat over coffee (which will be provided for you).

    If you have any thoughts or opinions you would like to share, I encourage you to attend.  If you are unable to attend the event, please feel free to contact my office at 800-842-1423 or email:  cara.pavalock@housegop.ct.gov.

    Legislators to Host Feb. 6 Coffee Hour at Rodd’s

    The public is invited to a Coffee Hour with Bristol legislators on Friday, Feb. 6 at Rodd’s Restaurant (854 Farmington Ave., Bristol).

    The “Coffee With Your Legislators” event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.  

    It will be hosted by Sen. Henri Martin, Rep. Whit Betts, and Rep. Cara
    Pavalock.

    Residents will have the opportunity to meet their legislators in a relaxed setting and may discuss any issues they wish to talk about. 

    Coffee will be provided.
    IMAGINE NATION:  ‘KISS-A-PIG’ CONTEST
    Supporting Children’s Literacy Effort
     
    I’m also proud to announce that I am participating in this year’s ‘Kiss-a-Pig’ Contest’ sponsored by Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center in Bristol, CT!
    The event is to support Imagine Nation’s literacy effort for children.
     
    I, along with eight other candidates, are soliciting votes in the form on monetary donations for Imagine Nation.

    The candidate with the most votes will pucker up to Daisy II the Pot Belly Pig on Thursday February 12th at 5pm during the winner’s ceremony at Imagine Nation!
