The CT U.S. Small Business Association and the Women’s Business Centers of CT are sponsoring a competition at the University of Hartford to showcase the innovation and entrepreneurship of local women, March 2-16.

The CT Innovate HER Challenge is nationwide competition searching for innovative products and services that can help impact and empower the lives of women.

The Challenge is seeking products or services that:

The final round of the challenge will be held in Washington D.C. during National Small Business Week May 4-8, 2015.

National Finalists will compete for up to $30,000 in cash prizes.

The competition is open to both men and women. CT residents and CT-based businesses may apply. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Women’s Business Centers are a national network of nearly 100 educational centers designed to assist women in starting and growing small businesses.
