    2015 Legislative Session
This article was archived from the previous WordPress site. Formatting and media should be close, but may not match the original post perfectly.

The 2015 legislative session is now underway. On January 7th, I took the oath of office to being serving my two-year term.

    THE UPCOMING SESSION

The Connecticut General Assembly will convene the “long session” on January 7th.  The “long session” goes from the first week in January through the first week in June.

During the regular session (January to June) the biggest part of the session is the two year state budget which effects every resident in Connecticut.  Additionally legislators are able to propose specific bills.  I am looking forward to proposing bills that I believe would be helpful to the residents of Bristol and the state.

January 16th is the legislative proposed bill deadline to submit a bill proposal. If you have ideas, questions or concerns about a state law or problem that would be eased by legislative action, please contact me.

    Rep. Pavalock-D’Amato Recognizes Local Hero

Yesterday, I had the honor of joining some of my state and federal colleagues to acknowledge the service of a true local hero. As a highly decorated member of the United State Army Reserve, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Patrick Nelligan has dedicated his life to this country, so as he enters retirement it was only […]
