HARTFORD, CT – State Representative Ben McGorty (R-122) is standing in support of House Bill 7199, legislation aimed at addressing critical staffing shortages in fire departments across Connecticut.
“Fire Chiefs across the state have expressed concerns about staffing shortages, and HB-7199 is a necessary step toward strengthening our fire departments and ensuring our communities remain protected,” said Rep. McGorty. “I stand with our first responders and am committed to advocating for solutions that support their critical work.”
