Shelton legislators to hold business forum

Shelton legislators to hold business forum

The 2019 legislative session was among the most impactful on the state’s business community in recent memory.

With that in mind, I’m co-hosting a forum this month in Shelton to provide information on legislative action that affects the state’s business community. I’ll be joined by state Rep. Jason Perillo and Sen. Kevin Kelly, and together we’ll cover topics such as the state’s new mandatory paid family and medical leave program, an increase to the minimum wage, and changes to the pass-through entity tax.

    Wednesday, Oct. 23
    Shelton City Hall, Room 104
    54 Hill Street, Shelton
    7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Members of our state’s business community, and small to mid-sized businesses in particular, are critical players in the effort to turn around Connecticut’s economy. I hope you’ll consider attending this free event, which is open not just to business owners and their employees, but also the general public.
