TRUMBULL- State Representatives David Rutigliano (R-123) and Ben McGorty (R-122) invited the state’s Office of the Healthcare Advocate (OHA) to present on ways for people to save on their healthcare plans. The meeting was held at the Trumbull Town Hall on Monday, April 29, 2019.

“I want to thank everyone who attended our healthcare informational forum. With the rising cost of healthcare, along with a growing senior population in Connecticut, Rep. McGorty and I wanted to invite the Office of the Healthcare Advocate down to Trumbull to speak and answer questions from members of the community. Health insurance coverage and costs are always issues on the minds of our citizens,” said Rep. Rutigliano.

“The cost of healthcare is something that is a concern to every resident and business in the state of Connecticut,” said Rep. McGorty. “I want to thank the Healthcare Advocate for coming to Trumbull to talk to residents about the cost of healthcare and how people can save money. I urge residents to visit the Health Advocate’s website to learn more about how they can save.”

According to the Trumbull State House members, OHA is an important public resource for anyone that has healthcare coverage questions or concerns. Further, OHA offers itself as resource to those needing assistance with appeals or grievances regarding their plans.
