The world-famous Wiffle Ball is part of Connecticut history. Developed in 1953 in Fairfield by David N. Mullany, the company moved to Shelton in 1959. Ever since then, the company has called its Bridgeport Ave. headquarters and plant its home.
Reps. Jason Perillo, Ben McGorty, and Sen. Kevin Kelly took a tour of the Wiffle Ball plant, escorted by current owner, Dave Mullany, grandson of the inventor, on Friday, July 8th.
