State Representatives Ben McGorty (R-122) and Jason Perillo (R-113), and Senator Kevin Kelly (R-21), are hosting an informational forum on Connecticut’s proposed health insurance rate increases. The forum will take place on Monday August 1, 2016 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Shelton Senior Center, 81 Wheeler Street.
The event will feature a panel discussion with guest speakers including insurance and health care policy experts from the Office of Healthcare Advocate, the CT Association of Health Care Plans and the Yankee Institute. The public will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Planned topics of discussion include the causes and effects of proposed insurance rate changes and changes in the health care industry.
