Description: Sen. Hwang and Rep. Zullo, the Ranking Members of the legislature’s Planning and Development Committee with cognizance on zoning and land use matters, will join us for a panel discussion to discuss pending proposals on land use, zoning, and affordable housing under 8-30g. Shelton Planning and Zoning chair Virginia Harger will also participate in the forum. The goal is to discuss and inform the community on the impact and legislative intent of HB 6611 (Fair Share Housing), SB 1024 (Insiders Bill), HB 6107 (State Enabled Zoning CGS 8-2), and SB 172 (Statewide Property Tax).
