    HARTFORD – January 8th, 2025 – Representative Ben McGorty of the 122nd General Assembly District was sworn in for another term in the Connecticut General Assembly representing Shelton, Stratford, and Trumbull. Rep. McGorty has been assigned to the Public Safety & Security, Commerce, and Regulations Review.

    “I am proud to serve the people of the 122nd Assembly District.” Rep. McGorty said on Opening Day.

    Rep. McGorty continues as Assistant House Republican Leader in the upcoming 2025-2026 General Assembly session.
