On September 2, the House Republicans held a press conference to demand the Majority Leaders and Co-Chairs of Public Health as a legislative committee convene a meeting and vote on Governor Lamont’s efforts to extend his sweeping executive orders beyond their Sept. 9 expiration date.
I sent the letter below to the committee, as have many of my colleagues, with the hope that they would consider meeting so we can check the power of the governor and actually represent the folks who put all of us into office.
