    In observance of Earth Day, State Representatives Ben McGorty (R-122) and Jason Perillo (R-113) are “adopting” Center Street in Shelton as part of “Shelton Clean Sweep,” sponsored by the Shelton Anti-Litter Committee.

    During the week of Earth Day, volunteers from all over Shelton will be cleaning up various roadways and open spaces.  Representatives Perillo & McGorty will be cleaning up the Center Street area in downtown Shelton.

    The legislators invite anyone who wants to join them for the Center Street cleanup to come out to join them.  Those interested in cleaning up different locations in Shelton, or looking for other ways to help, should go to www.donttrashshelton.org for information.

    Participants will receive Shelton Clean Sweep 2015 patches, and credit is available for high school community service hours.

    WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2015, 9:00am-10:30am
