    At a brief ceremony in the State Capitol, Rep. Ben McGorty (R-122) and Rep. Jason Perillo (R-113) offered congratulations to Sabrina Maldonado, and presented her with a citation from the General Assembly for her accomplishments in being named the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley’s 2017 Youth of the Year, and now 2017 Connecticut Youth of the Year.

    The Youth of the Year Award is the highest honor the Boys & Girls Club organization bestows upon a member.
