“I think this was a great opportunity for members of the community to discuss ways in which they can lower their electric rates, we had a great turnout,” said Representative McGorty.
“As colder temperatures approach and energy rates remain high I think it is important for our constituents to learn ways in which to lower their electric bills, the continued high energy rates impact families of all sizes,” said Representatives Jason Perillo.
“While we have taken steps to combat the high electricity rates here in our great state, the reality is that many families feel the sting of high electricity bills, especially as we near the holiday season and colder weather,” said Senator Kevin Kelly. “I am thrilled that we were able to team up with PURA to bring this forum to the Shelton community.”
