Join the Housatonic River Cleanup

Housatonic River Cleanup, Inc., will be organizing their annual cleanup event this year in Shelton and Stratford. They are looking for volunteers of any age and from any organization. It’s also a great opportunity for students to obtain community service hours.
Whether you can help for an hour or two, or you can stay all day, we could use your help!
DATE: May 7, 2016 – RAIN OR SHINE
TIME: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
LOCATION: Birdseye Street Boat Ramp – Stratford
&
Sunnyside Boat Ramp – Shelton
- Coffee, refreshments and lunch will be provided by local sponsors
- Participants should dress for the outdoors
- HRCU will provide garbage bags and work gloves
- If you have a boat or a pickup truck they want to hear from you!
