Over the last year, Gov. Malloy has talked about improving our state’s transportation grid through his 30-year, $100 billion Let’s Go CT! initiative. A panel was created to recommend ways to generate Special Transportation Fund revenue to pay for some of the governor’s “key preservation and repair projects,” such as I-84 viaducts in Hartford and Waterbury.
The panel released its
findings in mid-January, and they provide a contrast to
funding options my colleagues and I offered last February. I hope you’ll consider using this survey to tell me how you feel about the
recent recommendations from the Governor’s Transportation Finance Panel to create more revenue to help pay for the governor’s initiatives:
