    With the holiday season upon us, State Representative Ben McGorty (R-122) will be participating in two bell ringing events for the Salvation Army.

    On Friday, December 18th, McGorty will be joined by Rep. Laura Hoydick (R-120) and Senator Kevin Kelly (R-21) from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Walmart on Barnum Avenue Cutoff in Stratford.

    On Saturday, December 19th, McGorty will be joined with Rep. Jason Perillo (R-113) and Senator Kevin Kelly (R-21) from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Walmart in Shelton.

    The Salvation Army provides food, clothing, comfort and care to people in need across the United States.  Last year, the Salvation Army provided critical support to over 30 million Americans.

    Walmart will generously match all contributions to the Salvation Army collected during those times by the legislators.

    Come out and join us to have your donation do twice as much good this season!
