BRISTOL – With the cost of nearly everything going up these days, the Bristol legislative delegation felt it was important to highlight a prescription drug program that can save you and your family money.

State Representative Joe Hoxha, R-78th, Rep. Cara Pavalock-D’Amato and Rep. Mary Fortier partnered with the state comptrollers’ office for a presentation at the Bristol Senior Center so seniors could learn more about Array RX, which launched late last year.

The program enables residents to save on prescription drugs through a partnership of states that leverages buying power and lowers costs. The ArrayRx discount card is free for residents.

The card is provided to consumers digitally via e-mail and can be downloaded to smartphone wallets. Using the card, you can save 80% on their generic medications and 20% on brand name prescriptions.

You can fill out a form available online at www.arrayrxcard.com, where you can also learn more about the program. A valid physical Connecticut address and e-mail address are required to enroll.
