Posted on December 4, 2023

BRISTOL – Bristol State Representatives Cara Pavalock-D’Amato (77th) and Joe Hoxha (R-78th) will volunteer to raise money for in-need residents by collecting for the Salvation Army at the Bristol Stop & Shop on December 12.

When: Tuesday, December 12 at 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Location: Stop & Shop, 597 Farmington Ave., Bristol

The Bristol delegation will stop by the store and ring the bell for a good cause to help make the fundraising event a success. The Salvation Army responds to natural disasters such as wildfires and tornadoes, provides meals and toys to families in need, and conducts research and analyses regarding human needs around the country.

They also provide adult rehabilitation, veteran services, elderly services, missing person searches, housing assistance, youth recreation, sponsorship, and support in the fight to end human trafficking.

If you are unable to make it on December 12th, you can visit the Salvation Army’s website at https://salarmy.us/GOP  to donate. In addition to monetary donations, participants can make a gift of cars, clothing, household goods, airline miles, bonds and stocks, or can volunteer for the community.
