We have another busy week ahead in the House of Representatives!  We have one week to go in the 2023 legislative session, and we will be in doing the people’s business during the coming days. I will also be sure to update you on the state budget in the coming days.

As we keep our eyes on the state budget, I wanted to let you know that House Republicans are in the final phase of negotiations to develop it along with Governor Lamont, as well as General Assembly Democrats. We are hopeful that our negotiations will result in a bipartisan budget for Connecticut, something we haven’t seen in our state since Republicans enjoyed nearly even numbers in the legislature back in 2017.
