HARTFORD, CT – State Representative Irene Haines (R-34) joined fellow legislators and advocates at the 4th March for Life in Connecticut, standing in defense of the unborn and in support of mothers and families. She was joined by State Representatives Brian Lanoue (R-45), Anne Dauphinais (R-44), and Karen Reddington-Hughes (R-66), along with a passionate crowd dedicated to protecting life.

“As lawmakers consider new legislation like House Bill 7213—which would allow minors to access pregnancy-related services without parental consent—it is more important than ever to speak out,” said Rep. Haines. “Parents play a vital role in guiding their children, and they should never be left out of such critical decisions.”

Rep. Haines reaffirmed her commitment to defending parental rights and ensuring that Connecticut’s laws reflect the fundamental values of life and family.

During the event, Rep. Haines had the opportunity to meet with local advocates, including Julie Ciucias from East Hampton, and expressed her gratitude to everyone who participated in the march.

“I am proud to stand alongside so many who are dedicated to this cause, and I will continue working to ensure that the voices of parents and families are heard,” she added.
