Plastic Bag Tax Returns July 1st

The state’s Department of Revenue Services (DRS) announced that the suspension of the plastic bag tax expires today, and that retailers should prepare to begin collecting the 10-cent per bag tax again tomorrow. The governor in late March suspended the tax during the pandemic response.
