REP. DELNICKI CELEBRATES ADDITIONAL CRUMBLING FOUNDATION FUNDING

The Crumbling Foundations Assistance Fund is set to receive $25,000,000
HARTFORD – During today’s State Bond Commission approved funding for the Crumbling Foundations Assistance Fund (CFAF). The CFAF fund will receive $25,000,000 for Fiscal Year 2024 according to State Rep. Tom Delnicki (R-14), co-chair of the Crumbling Foundation Caucus.
According to Rep. Delnicki, as of today 804 homes in Connecticut have received assistance from the Crumbling Foundations Assistance Fund and this new allocation will permit an additional 170 homes to receive funding through the CFAF program.
“I want to thank the governor for this bonding allocation. This money has literally kept communities, homeowners, neighborhoods, and homes together,” said Rep. Delnicki, who said there are still over 2000 homeowners on the wait list for help. “I will continue to advocate for state dollars until all these homeowners are made whole have their foundations repaired.”
Additionally, the Crumbling Foundations Assistance Fund every year receives approximately $11 million from the annual surcharge on the residential homeowner insurance policies.
